The bathrooms

Newton Work Team

San Lazaro Bathrooms!

We are excited about the Newton Team that has come to build the bathrooms. We enjoyed working with them last year. Brian and Laurie Pennington and John Gaines arrived on Monday to begin the project. They have worked hard getting ready for there trip and have had wonderful support. Don, Galo, Mr Hellie, Bill and Antonia have been working getting things ready for them. The rest of the group will come tomorrow It will include Veronica Gaines and Billy and Betty Horton. It is wonderful to see the people from the states and the national working side by side. The tin is ready to go on. It is amazing the progress that has been made. It is exciting to see what the Lord can do when people are willing to be used by the Lord. There is no limit. Laurie and I have been working trying to help meet there needs also. We are having a wonderful time in the Lord working together. The children will be so proud of their bathroom. We are all so excited WOW flush toilets in San Lazaro School what a blessing!!

Thanks with all our heart

Brother Don and I want to thank everyone for the help and prayers that were offered up during our time of need. Kacie our granddaughter was in a car accident and was in very serious condition, as most of you know. I had to fly home and help her. She is doing fine now she is planning to start collage in a few days. The doctors were amazed at her recovery. She had two lacerations on her spleen, one on her liver she also had a very bad cut on her side. She is doing fine now. The Lord was with her. Continue to pray for her as the doctors said a complete recovery would take about six months. But she is doing very well.
While I was in the states Don had a lot going on in Belize. Brother Charlie Joe came up getting ready for the medical team and teaching a class at the schools with the Congregational Methodist. Also Brother LaDon and Brother Billy Frank came up to look at the field. They were a lot of company to Don. They also wanted to go to the graduation of the Leadership Classes. I really hated to miss that but I was where I needed to be. I heard it was a beautiful service and a great blessing to all. There were twelve to graduate: Oswin Blease, Alice Leal, Marion Wade, Gloria Vaccaro, Tanya Sutherkand, Mariela Carrillo, Pat Smith, Rev Donald Smith, Galo Carrilla, Rev Donovan Grinage, Derick Grintage, Gilroy Lewis,
There was also a pastors meeting at the Mission House and Christmas parties for the school. Thanks for all the help that you gave Don. He was also very busy getting ready for the project on the bathrooms in San Lazarious
On our vacation in December we were able to see all our family and friends we were blessed beyond measure. Thank you all again for the Christmas offerings and all the calls you made. Thanks Brother La Don and Brother Billy Frank for bringing the little green car to Arkansas for me so I was able to get around. Thanks also to our friends at Union church for all that you did. We will always be grateful for your love and support. We are looking forward to a blessed New Year and we are excited to see what the Lord will do in Belize 2007.Please continue to pray for our family and us.
