Blitz 2007
We met Mark, Paul, Charity, and Wesley on Tuesday to start off the Blitz. It was sure good to see them. They will be staying at Sand Hill but bought groceries for both. On Thursday we brought beds and fans to Sand Hill, as they will have more people. We were on the way to the airport when Brother Mark told us he feared for the icebox down stairs at San Lazaro and we needed to go and get another. So it was decided we should get the icebox instead. It was greatly appreciated. The team arrived a little later than expected because of a delay in arrival. It was good to see everyone. Saturday was a restful day as the people came in to visit the team members. The Sand Hill group brought up the VBS sweets and we got a chance to see them a few minutes before they had to return. . The ladies from San Lazaro cooked sabotas and empanadas we all enjoyed eating with them and it gave us a good chance to start off the VBS right. We all had a good time of Fellowship. We all went to San Lazaro for Sunday school it was a good morning. Flo taught the adults and did a good job. They were kind enough to invite us to lunch afterward we went to August Pine Ridge to invite the children to VBS some of the youths from San Lazaro went with us to help. The same group invited the children in San Lazaro on Saturday. They were a big help. Flo, Kathryn, Don and myself got things ready for VBS making sure things were clean and rooms prepared. We will all go to San Lazaro for service tonight we are looking forward to a good service. We are excited and praying for
